Teaching method Situational teaching approach and  interaction Teaching aids Multi-media and cassette tape Realia and pictures Teaching Procedures Step I :Warming up. 1.  Sing a song “head and shoulder” Step II :Leading in T: Look, where is it? Ss: It’s in the park. T: Yes. It’s in the country park. Ss: In the country park. T: What can you see in the park? Ss: I can see… T: What is this\that? Ss: It’s a butterfly\fly\bee. T: Yes. Look, we can see butterfly, fly and bee.They are all insects. Today we are going to learn “Insects”. Step Ⅲ: words presentation: ①  T:  Show a ladybird on the screen.   What is this? Answer: It’s a ladybird. T: Repeat the words. Correct the pronunciation. It has two parts: lady+bird (Review some compound words: butter+fly, police+man, milk+man……) T: 直接用ladybird進(jìn)行單詞新授。 head   bread breakfast T: Look at the ladybird. The ladybird ______ a head and body. The butterflies _______ six legs. …… T: Who can tell me the difference between has and have? ( 單三用has, 其他用have) Step Ⅵ: Listen and imitate T: Open your books and turn to page 38-39. Now listen and follow the tape, then I will ask some students to imitate. Step Ⅶ:  Listen and fill in the blanks. An insect: Listen and fill in the blanks. Check the answers. Ask the students to tell the answers. Step Ⅷ:Guessing game. 1) T: Give an example. Learn to use the new word.     Review the knowledge we learned and stimulate students’ interest.         To interest the students and to relex.             To interest the students.and to consolidate the new words.     Help the student to find and conclude the difference between has and have.             To correct the pronunciation.       Improve their reading ability, correct their pronunciation and intonation. Learn the new words and consolidate the pronunciation.   Try to use the language and describe something.         Conclude the pronunciation.
