世上人們各有所愛，有的人喜歡溫柔的貓，有的人喜歡可愛的狗，還有的人喜歡……我當(dāng)然也有自己的愛物，那就是小烏龜。
小烏龜來我們家可有很長的時(shí)間了，是在我小時(shí)候媽媽買的，那時(shí)只有手掌那么大，現(xiàn)在長了不少，像碗口一樣。我們倆朝夕相處已經(jīng)四，五年，我非常喜歡它。
小烏龜通身翠綠，像用玉雕出來的一樣，極其精致。頭的兩邊長著一對黑豆般的小眼睛，亮晶晶很有神。在它的眼睛后面，長著一對不容易看出來的小耳朵。下面是一張三角形的嘴。小烏龜有尖尖的小尾巴，強(qiáng)壯的四只腳，腳上還長有趾甲，趾間有蹼，劃水時(shí)可幫上大忙了。它的殼分成一些多邊形塊，每個(gè)小塊上都有花紋，放到一起組成了美麗的'大花紋，非常堅(jiān)固。最有特點(diǎn)的是它肚子底下也有花紋，并且是“回”字形的。看上去就像古代時(shí)的盾牌，十分別致。
平時(shí)，小烏龜經(jīng)常在水底趴著休息，一副懶散的樣子。可是要是有一點(diǎn)動(dòng)靜，它就會驚慌失措地將頭，四肢和尾巴一起縮進(jìn)殼內(nèi)，從上面看就像一個(gè)小足球。我拿龜食來喂它時(shí)，它也會活動(dòng)起來。龜食還沒入水，它就迫不及待了，頭伸出好遠(yuǎn)，游來游去，當(dāng)龜食沉入水里，小烏龜就用前腳扒拉一陣，再聞一會兒香味，然后大口大口地嚼起來。吃完飯了，它就開始玩耍，一會兒在水中激起幾朵水花，一會兒鉆到水底的沙子中去捉迷藏。
