　　去年過年的時候，爸爸買了一只淺藍色的虎皮鸚鵡送給我，我非常喜歡它。

　　每次回家，我都向它問好：“Howareyou?”有一天，我剛走進家門，竟然聽到“Howareyou?”這個句子。我抬頭一看，竟然是鸚鵡在說話呢!這只鸚鵡竟然會說英語了!我連忙將這天大的喜訊告訴了爸爸媽媽。

　　我下決心當鸚鵡的英語老師，過一把教師的癮。我走到鸚鵡跟前，對它說：“Goodmorning.”可是我等了半天，還是不見鸚鵡張嘴。我親切地說：“乖學生，我說一句，你跟我念一句，好嗎?”我又說了一遍，可是小家伙還是沒理我。我耐心地做它的思想工作：“學習不要怕吃苦，要有信心，只要你認真練習，你一定會成為鸚鵡明星的.。”我盡量將英語的句子說慢一點：“Good——morning.”可是小家伙竟然懶得看我一眼，開始悠閑地梳理起羽毛了。

　　我氣得滿臉通紅。媽媽見我的樣子，就說：“臉紅得跟猴腚似的，跟誰生氣呢?”我和媽媽說明了事情的經(jīng)過。媽媽一聽樂了：“鸚鵡要像你一樣聰明，還不跟你一起上學去?教它說英語，你得有耐心�！�

　　對呀，鸚鵡學會第一句英語不是用了好幾個月嗎。我天天堅持教它學，它準能學會好多英語句子。

　　經(jīng)過四個月的努力，它終于會說“Goodmorning.”�？墒撬鼘W會了這個句子，竟然又不會說“Howareyou?”了。

　　我輕輕點著它的腦袋說：“你真笨!”

　　However， writing a letter for greetings has its own special advantages。 As we all know， it is much cheaper than XXX a call。 Not only can writing a letter save us money but also it shows more respect and sincerity to others。 For instance， when you want to invite someone to your party or to dinner with you， you’d better send him an invitation letter， which is more formal than just XXX a call。 Times are constantly changing， and yet writing a letter is still as good a way as XXX a call。

　　開始，奶奶費盡心思記住了“bus”（公交車）與“Ta ”（出租車），接著就很難記著其他單詞了。于是我就想出了一個與中文“屁”諧音的`“pea”（尿）給奶奶記。這種方法真有效，奶奶果然順利地記住了許多單詞，如“tooth”——吐死；“cool”——酷哦，等等等等。有時我還用上了瑞安方言呢！例如：“mum”的諧音就是方言里的“門”，諸如此類。奶奶學完英語，非常開心，躺著笑個不停呢。我可是第一次看到奶奶笑地那么開心！我也感到了當老師的樂趣。為了防止奶奶忘記，我還特地列了個單詞表，讓奶奶記。
