This summer holiday I went to England for studying English and travelling London.
During the days in England, we learned English in King’s College School. Our teacher Mia was a funny teacher. We acted an interesting play too. We also visited many famous places in England. I like visiting. Such as：BigBen， which is one of the symbol of London. And we also went to an amazing beach. We enjoyed the sunshine there. I loved Nactional Art Museum best. There were lots of famous paintings. I saw Van Gogh’s sunflower there! I was so excited.
I enjoyed my holiday very much. I hope I could visit London again.

爺爺常說(shuō)："奧運(yùn)會(huì)是我們中國(guó)人的驕傲。"到時(shí)肯定會(huì)有許多外國(guó)人來(lái)我們張家港觀光旅游。如果走在大街上老外問咱們問題，咱們聽不懂，也不知道怎么說(shuō)，肯定會(huì)讓他們笑話的。于是，爺爺就去"歐亞"報(bào)了個(gè)老年英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班。由于爺爺?shù)挠⒄Z(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)很差，學(xué)起來(lái)就特別的困難，再加上爺爺?shù)囊粋�(gè)門牙也掉了，發(fā)起音來(lái)更是費(fèi)勁，而且還要鬧笑話。雖然有這么多困難，但是爺爺很堅(jiān)持，天天抱著復(fù)讀機(jī)聽個(gè)不停，還樂此不疲。
為了把英語(yǔ)學(xué)好，爺爺要求我和他用英語(yǔ)互相問候和對(duì)話。比如：每天早上他看到我起床就說(shuō)一聲："Goodmorning（早上好）！"下午放學(xué)回家就說(shuō)："Goodafternoon（下午好）！"等簡(jiǎn)單的句子。有一次，我給爺爺?shù)沽吮�，他連忙說(shuō)："Thankyou（謝謝）！"結(jié)果說(shuō)成了"坦克油"，把我逗的捧腹大笑，差點(diǎn)把剛喝的水給噴了出來(lái)。在一旁吃飯的老爸更是笑得前俯后仰。奶奶也一邊笑一邊拍打著爺爺說(shuō)："老頭子，你都這么大年紀(jì)了，普通話都說(shuō)不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，還學(xué)英語(yǔ)呢，哈哈哈——"。爺爺故作鎮(zhèn)定的說(shuō)："這有什么好笑的，不就是把音讀的`重了一點(diǎn)嘛！"我連忙告訴爺爺說(shuō)："爺爺，如果你把音讀重了，就有可能變成另外一個(gè)意思，那樣的話，外國(guó)人就有可能理解錯(cuò)誤的。"爺爺聽了迫不及待的讓我教他，我耐心的一遍又一遍教他發(fā)音。雖然他的發(fā)音還是不怎么標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，可他堅(jiān)持不懈的精神值得我們?nèi)胰速潎@。
爺爺身體不太好，還有糖尿病，醫(yī)生叮囑過(guò)爺爺要保證睡眠的充足，可爺爺為了學(xué)好英語(yǔ)，晚上仍然堅(jiān)持去上老年英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班。爸爸也曾勸他多休息，擔(dān)心過(guò)分的勞累會(huì)影響他的身體。但他堅(jiān)定的對(duì)我們?nèi)胰苏f(shuō)："為了北京的奧運(yùn)，再大的困難也要堅(jiān)持！"

on campus, lovers can be found here and there. they are very intimate with each other sometimes. some people think too much intimacy has a bad influence. it takes lovers too much time and energy. then how about their studies? furthermore, their intimacy can aisc distract their own as well as other students＇ attention from study. campus should be a place for study and should maintain an atmosphere of learning.
on the other hand, other people believe it is ok. pursuing love is all right to studentson campus and intimacy is a natural epression of love. some scholars of law hold that friendships and appropriate intimacy are an important pard of student development. a sociologist says, "students＇ right to self-epression should be respected."
in my opinion, what all people should do is just leave it as it is. university students are adults, and they can handle their own affairs well enough. however, they have to admit that school is a place where people receive an education and their main task is to study. therefore, students are epected to behave themselves in proper ways.
